2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed in connection with your use of the Teamful website, platform, applications, customer support, and related communications.

Where Teamful processes personal data on behalf of a customer as part of providing the Service, such processing is governed by applicable contractual terms, including any Data Processing Addendum entered into between Teamful and the customer.

3. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in several ways, depending on how you interact with the Service.

When you create an account, communicate with us, or otherwise use the Service, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, company or organisation details, login credentials, and any content you upload or create within the platform. This includes campaign data, deliverables, messages, and other information necessary to operate the Service.

If you choose to connect social media accounts, we may collect information made available through third-party platform APIs, including public profile information, audience metrics, engagement statistics, and content performance data. The specific data accessed depends on the permissions you grant and the policies of the relevant platform. Teamful only accesses and processes such data as necessary to provide the Service.

In addition, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you access or use the Service. This may include IP addresses, device and browser characteristics, operating system information, timestamps, usage logs, and interaction data. This information helps us operate the Service securely, monitor performance, and improve functionality.

For paid subscriptions, billing and payment information is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Teamful does not store full payment card details, but we retain subscription, transaction, and billing metadata as required for accounting, compliance, and customer support purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

For individuals located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, Teamful processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Our processing is based on one or more of the following legal grounds: the performance of a contract with you or your organisation, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where required. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

5. How We Use Personal Data

We use personal data to provide, maintain, and operate the Service, including enabling campaign planning, execution, collaboration, reporting, and social media integrations. Personal data is also used to process subscriptions and payments, provide customer support and live chat, communicate service-related information, ensure platform security, prevent misuse, and improve the performance and reliability of the Service.

Teamful does not sell personal data.

6. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We may share personal data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the Service, such as hosting providers, analytics services, and payment processors. These providers are contractually bound to process personal data only on our instructions and to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Personal data may also be shared with social media platforms when you use authorised integrations, with professional advisers such as legal or accounting firms where necessary, or with public authorities where required by law.

7. International Data Transfers

Teamful operates globally, and personal data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with contractual and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When personal data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised, subject to technical and backup retention limitations.

9. Security Measures

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and the use of secure infrastructure providers. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we continuously work to protect the information entrusted to us.

10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Teamful uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the website and Service, analyse usage, and improve performance. Where required by law, we obtain consent before placing non-essential cookies. Additional details are available in our Cookie Policy.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
